![]() 02.search : search criteriaICP helps you improve your search: use this guide to get the best results from your search or ask ICP to carry out a personalised search for you. Our staff will help you find the most advantageous solutions.SUGGESTIONS FOR SEARCHES USING KEYWORDSThe search system is “case insensitive,” thus it is indifferent whether or not you type in lower- or upper-case letters. Among the fundamental base criteria one should adopt when using key words for a search, please remember: AND When one bases the search on a keyword, the search is based on the criteria “and.” When specifying more than one keyword, the results will contain all of the keywords inserted. If one wishes to find all the images that contain only one of the keywords, it is necessary then to separate the words with “or.” Asterisk (*) The asterisk used at the end of a keyword, even one that has been cut off or is incomplete, allows you to search for variations of that particular word. Note: the asterisk “*” may not be input at the beginning of a keyword, only at the end of one. Minus sign (-) By inserting the “-“ in your search, you will exclude the keywords from your search. For example: sky -cloud. The results will contain the word “sky” but not the word “cloud." Or The connection of words with “or” permits you to extend your search because the system will search for all images containing at least one of the words for which you search. Moreover, ICP offers an advanced search, in the box located in the column on the left-hand side of the screen, which helps you refine your search. Advanced image search:
